Dear Sea Trail Property Owners!

Summer is here and we are enjoying our place in paradise!

Just a few quick updates:

Byrd Watch – As you know the new development of Byrd Watch has begun.  A number of pine trees and a few hardwood trees needed to be removed to create the infrastructure necessary for the new neighborhood.  Many trees were preserved.  Special attention was given to the trees and underbrush along the pond to preserve wildlife and nesting grounds. The new infrastructure in Byrd Watch includes underground utilities, high and low density stormwater systems to include a new forebay, new roads and sidewalks.  This is very different from clearing a lot for an individual home.   Funston Company is doing a wonderful job in removing trees and debris quickly.  Once the infrastructure is completed, we will have sidewalks, LED street lights and approximately 200 new hardwood trees.   We can look forward to a beautiful streetscape with sidewalks along Crooked Gulley Circle and Clubhouse Road from Eastwood Park Road to the Jones/Byrd Clubhouse, where Byrd Watch is located!  Click HERE view the Riptide Letter dated June 3.

Oyster Pointe Bike PathRiptide recently built a home in Oyster Pointe on a lot that residents use to walk or ride their bicycles to Oyster Bay Golf Course. Responding to residents comments, Riptide has now provided a new path on a nearby common property.

Village Activities Center (VAC) – Just a reminder that the VAC is open to ALL Master Association Members in good standing.  The VAC facility includes an outdoor pool, indoor pool, Tiki Bar, meeting space and the restaurant, House’s Place at the Beach.   All Sea Trail Property Owners need to pre-register before gaining entrance to the VAC.  If you registered last summer, you do not need to register again.  Non-property owners and renters can use the facilities if they purchase a VAC membership.   Daily, Weekly and Monthly memberships are available.  Everyone must check in at the VAC Front Desk.   For more information on the VAC, click HERE.
