UPDATE:  9-1-22
Hello, There has been some confusion concerning the cost of the tournament. I hope this helps.

Player A– Is playing in the tournament and having lunch at Oyster Bay and will be attending the dinner at the Pink Palace later in the day. The total cost for the day is $84.00. That breaks down to $59 paid in the pro shop the day of the tournament and $25.00 paid to me for dinner and prizes.

Player B– Is playing in the tournament and will be attending the dinner later in the day. The total cost for the day is $65.00. That breaks down to $40.00 paid in the pro shop the day of the tournament and $25.00 paid to me for dinner and prizes.

Player C– Is playing in the tournament and will be having lunch at Oyster Bay but will not be attending the dinner. The total cost for the day is $64.00. That breaks down to $59.00 paid in the pro shop the day of the tournament and $5.00 paid to me for prizes.

Player D– Is playing in the tournament and will not be attending the dinner later in the day. The total for the day is $45.00. That breaks down to $40.00 paid in the pro shop the day of the tournament and $5.00 paid to me for prizes.

Non-Player E–Who is only attending the dinner later in the day the cost will be $20.00 paid to me.

Currently I am working on the possibility of moving the date to October 8th because of the conflict with Sunset at Sunset. If possible, the outing will be moved, if not it will have to stay on October 1st.
Thanks for your understanding.
Clinton

Hello All Oyster Pointe Neighbors,

This year the Oyster Pointe Open will be held on Saturday, October 1, at the Oyster Bay Golf Links, starting at 12:44 off both tees.  The format will remain a Captain’s Choice.  We were offered. two prices for the golf.  Golf only is $40.00 or golf with lunch and two drinks at Oyster Bay is $59.00.  There will be a catered dinner at the Pink Palace starting at around 6:00.

The entry fee for the tournament is $25 per player which includes prizes and dinner.  If you only want to attend the dinner the cost is $20.00 per person.

Please share this information with any new neighbors and give them my email address clintondunlop@hotmail.com so they can receive additional information on the tournament.  More information will follow.  Looking forward to another great day on our home course and an enjoyable gathering later in the day.

Thanks,

Clinton

Crooked Gulley Open – November 5

Attention residents of Crooked Gulley Circle, Crooked Gulley Court, Brookwood Park Court, Baroney Place, Discovery Lake Drive, Deacon Court, and Jones Byrd Court,  please contact Dennis Littlefield (information below)  if you would like to participate and have not already received an email or committed to playing and dinner.

We have secured a shotgun start for a Step-Aside Captain’s choice golf format at 8:30 on the Maples Course and a catered dinner at the Pink Palace starting at 5:00 pm. This is a great chance to get together with all our neighbors and friends, with prizes.  We plan to make this a fun event !

If interested, please send an email to Dennis Littlefield at (dennislittlefieldnc@gmail.com) with your name, Sea Trail address, contact information (email and phone number) and if you and your  significant other will both participate in golf and dinner.

We will send out further information on cost, green fees, deadlines, handicaps, and payment in mid September and deadlines for payment by mid-October. We know Sea Trail will honor all player  memberships and charge participants who don’t have player memberships the local green fee rate  which will be in addition to the game and dinner fees.

We are gathering interested participants in order to estimate our costs for catering, prizes, raffles, etc.

We are also looking for any volunteers to help in running this event.
