HEARD ‘ROUND THE BAG DROP Posted July 8, 2019
Who has time for golf this time of year!!! Family in town, going to the beach, off to see the kids in Maine, jet-setting to Europe, river cruising the Rhine, etc. but we did play golf and congratulations to the winners of the Charm Tournament. Good food and festivities as well as a good time were had by all. There were 18 Sea Trail Ladies that played in the Sandpiper Bay Fun Day on June 18, hosted by the Piperettes, who did a super job! Congratulations to any Sea Trail ladies who won prizes.
July 10 is the Red, White and Blue Tournament; everyone playing will be placed on either the red, white or blue team and are encouraged to wear their color that day – always lots of fun. Come cheer on your team while you gather at Magnolia’s at 1pm for an off the menu lunch. Sign-up sheet is on the board and take advantage of our new social sign-up on the STLGA website.
Also this month is everybody’s favorite – the 2 Member/Member. You know the one with different formats like alternate shot where you wonder why did my partner put me here!!!!
The social committee has been working hard with Diane Kreuzberg and has planned a delicious luncheon after golf on Friday, July 26 at the Pink Palace immediately after golf. There will be a sign-up sheet on the website for golf and the social or check the board at the J/B. The cost is $2, payable at the Pink Palace and BYOB is always an option. Menu items will be on the bulletin board and in email blasts.
